So why are the groove widths of industrial aluminum profiles different?

An aluminum profile is an industrial type that starts from the aluminum profile. The slot width of the slot standard 4040 aluminum profile is 6.2mm. (It should be explained here that the extra 0.2mm is for the convenience of installing bolts, and the slot is wide)

The second is load bearing. If it is a large-section aluminum profile, the notch needs to be larger, so that the aluminum profile accessories that meet the load-bearing requirements can be installed. If the slot of the aluminum profile with a large cross-section is smaller, the specifications of the installed aluminum profile accessories will be smaller, because the aluminum profile accessories are selected according to the aluminum profile specifications and groove width, so if they are used together, there will be aluminum profiles. The accessories cannot bear the type of aluminum profiles, which will lead to breakage and affect the later use. However, if the aluminum profile with a small cross-section is equipped with a large notch, whether it is price or load-bearing, it will cause waste of the use of aluminum profile accessories.
